22 Day SELF DRIVE IN ZIMBABWE
Here is what our client had to say:
“Now that we are back home for almost two weeks, I have finally found some time to write you a short note of appreciation. Our trip to Zimbabwe was a total success, in all aspects. I must say we were thrilled with the car and the camping equipment you provided. All was top-notch. We didn’t have a single issue with the car, it worked like a clock throughout the trip, even on the worst tracks. The only minor issue we had was a broken security latch on the spare wheel carrier, but with some improvisation, we solved that easily. Also, both the delivery and returning the car process went smoothly and very professionally.
Once again, Bushlore has proven that it is the best 4×4 rental provider in Southern Africa, by far. We will certainly remain your loyal customers, and are already deep into a planning phase for our next two trips to Africa, probably next January and August.”

22 Day 4×4 SELF DRIVE SAFARI ROUTE
This was a rough plan of the trip:
Day 1-2:
After getting our car at the Harare Airport, head south toward Masvingo. Spend the first night at Denise’s Kitchen campsite near the town of Chivu. The next day, continue to Masvingo and visit the nearby Lake Kyle Game Park and famous Great Zimbabwe Ruins.
Day 3-7:
After a long day’s drive from Masvingo to Gonarezhou NP, spend the next 4 days thoroughly exploring the park.
Day 8-9:
Drive to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe’s second-largest city. Spend the whole day in Matobo NP and two nights at Burke’s Paradise campsite, in the suburb of Bulawayo.
Day 10-13:
Spend 4 days in Hwange national park, one night each at the Main Camp, Ngweshla pan, Jambili pan, and Mandavu dam.
Day 14-15:
On the southern side of Lake Kariba transfer to the east to Chizarira NP, and from there town of Kariba, on the homonymous lake.
Day 16-20:
Spend 5 days in a wonderful Mana Pools NP. First 4 nights at Nyamepi public campsite, and the last night at the wild Chitake Springs, at campsite #3b.
Day 21-22:
Spend the last night at Chinhoyi Caves, visit the caves, and at the end return the car at Harare International Airport.
